Biography
I am Akinyemi Kayode Emmanuel, a 300-level Nursing Science student at the University of Port Harcourt, from Odo Oro, Ikole, Ekiti State. I am passionate about justice, fairness, and integrity. My aspiration to serve as SUG Judge is driven by my commitment to fair hearing, impartiality, transparency, and protecting students’ interests.
Manifesto
MY MANIFESTO AS A SUG JUDGE ASPIRANT ⚖️ “LET JUSTICE SPEAK. LET KAYODE JUDGE.” My fellow students, distinguished delegates, and friends, My name is AKINYEMI KAYODE EMMANUEL, popularly known as LEGEND, and I am putting myself forward to serve as your SUG Judge. I am not aspiring for this position simply because I want a title or a position of authority. I am aspiring because I believe that every student deserves to be heard, respected, and treated fairly. To me, being a Judge is not about taking sides. It is about listening to both sides, understanding the situation, looking at the facts, and making a fair decision. WHAT I STAND FOR If given the opportunity to serve, I will stand for fair hearing, impartiality, transparency, and respect for the rule of law. I will not allow friendship, popularity, personal relationships, or influence to determine my judgment. I will listen before I decide, understand before I judge, and let facts and principles guide me. I also believe that every student matters. Whether you are popular or not, whether you belong to a particular group or not, your voice deserves to be heard. MY PROMISE TO YOU I cannot promise that every decision will make everyone happy, because justice is not about pleasing everyone. But I can promise that I will strive to make every decision fair, honest, responsible, and unbiased. I will respect the SUG constitution, uphold the dignity of the office, and always remember that the position is a responsibility entrusted to me by the students.
