Voting Guidelines

Everything you need to know before you vote.

Who can vote

Only registered voters listed in the official voter database are eligible. If you are not registered, you will not be able to log in.

How to log in

Enter your registered email address or matric number on the login page, then enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your email. You do not need a password.

Browsing candidates

You can review every candidate's photo, department, faculty, level, biography, and manifesto, before deciding who to vote for.

Casting your vote

You may vote once for each position. Before your vote is submitted, you'll see a confirmation screen showing exactly who you selected — review it carefully.

Once submitted, a vote cannot be changed or withdrawn. Take your time before confirming.

Voting for multiple positions

You do not have to vote for every position in one sitting. You can log back in at any time before voting closes and continue voting for positions you haven't completed yet — positions you've already voted for will be marked as done.

Privacy

Your vote is recorded anonymously and is not linked to your identity in the ballot record. The system only tracks that you have voted for a position, not who you voted for.

Voting window

Voting is only open between the official start and end times set by the election administrator. You cannot vote before it opens or after it closes.
