Kingsley Anthony Jumbo, a 300-level student of the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Port Harcourt, from Akwa Ibom State. I have served in various leadership capacities at both departmental and faculty levels, including Course Representative, Deputy Chief Whip of the Social Science Students' Association (SOSSA) 3rd Parliament, and Speaker of the Social Science Students' Association (SOSSA) 4th Parliament. Through these positions, I have demonstrated a commitment to inclusive leadership, effective representation, student welfare, and positive change. I am passionate about leadership that gives every student a voice and ensures that no one is left behind.

MANIFESTO MANIFESTO FOR THE OFFICE OF DIRECTOR OF STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS University of Port Harcourt SUG Election Theme: Ability Beyond Limitations — Inclusion, Accessibility and Equal Opportunity Fellow Great University of Port Harcourt Students, I, RT. Hon. Jumbo Kingsley, humbly present myself to serve as the Director of Students with Special Needs in the Students' Union Government. My aspiration is driven by one conviction: every student deserves to learn, participate, lead and succeed, regardless of physical or other challenges. Students with special needs are not objects of sympathy; they are students with abilities, talents, ambitions and rights. My administration will therefore focus on creating an environment where every student can participate fully in the academic, social and leadership life of our University. MY VISION To build a more inclusive and accessible University of Port Harcourt where students with special needs are heard, respected, represented and supported. MY KEY AGENDA 1. Accessibility and Mobility I will advocate for improved accessibility to lecture halls, administrative offices, recreational areas and other important facilities for students with mobility challenges. 2. Effective Representation I will establish a stronger communication channel between students with special needs, the SUG and relevant University authorities, ensuring that their concerns are properly presented and followed up. 3. Academic Support I will advocate for appropriate academic support, learning resources and reasonable accommodations that can make learning easier and more effective for students with special needs. 4. Welfare and Empowerment I will work toward welfare initiatives, empowerment opportunities, skills development and programmes that can help students with special needs become more independent and economically empowered. 5. Awareness and Inclusion I will organize programmes that promote awareness, understanding and respect for students with special needs while challenging discrimination, stigma and unnecessary barriers. 6. Special Needs Students' Forum I will advocate for a regular forum where students with special needs can openly express their challenges, make suggestions and engage directly with student leadership. 7. Collaboration and Partnerships I will seek meaningful partnerships with University authorities, student organizations, NGOs, individuals and other relevant stakeholders to attract support and opportunities for students with special needs. 8. Accountability and Accessibility of the Office I will run an office that is approachable, responsive and accountable. The office will not exist only during election season; it will remain available to students throughout the tenure. MY COMMITMENT I will not promise what I cannot deliver. I promise to listen, advocate, represent and work. I believe leadership is not about occupying an office; it is about using that office to make a difference in the lives of the people you represent.
