Biography
SHORT BIOGRAPHY Barr. Omoru Oghenekevwe Peace is a medical student, barrister, scriptwriter, spoken word artiste, creative writer, and firm advocate for justice. She is from Ughelli, Delta State, was born in Lagos, and currently studies in Rivers State. She has served as a Barrister in SUG, Academic Director at the class level, and Secretary of both the Financial and Quiz Committees. She is passionate about service, fairness, accountability, and effective representation, and believes leadership should be driven by integrity, justice, and a genuine commitment to the people.
Manifesto
The Bridging the Scale (BTS) Agenda seeks to build an informed, impartial and accountable Judiciary where the Constitution remains the standard for both government and the governed. Its two core priorities are: 1. Informing Students: Bridging the knowledge gap by making students aware of their rights, duties and judicial processes through accessible constitutional sensitization. 2. Holding Government Accountable: Ensuring that the Union operates within the limits of the Constitution, while promoting fairness, due process, integrity and equal application of the law. Through weekly constitutional education, accessible inquiry and complaint channels, integrity-driven judicial processes and continuous legal awareness, the BTS Agenda seeks to make justice more accessible to every student.
