Manifesto

Manifesto THE PIUS OG MIRACLE MEDIA & INFORMATION AGENDA My vision is simple: Information is power, and power can be used to drive change. If entrusted with this responsibility, I will promote a student-centred information system built on speed, accuracy, credibility, accessibility, and accountability. My goal is to ensure that students are not merely consumers of information but active participants in shaping the university community. I intend to promote real-time reporting of important student activities, community journalism, vox pops, press conferences, hall debates, interviews, and other responsible media engagements to solicit quality and credible information within and beyond the school environment. I will work to amplify the voices of students by promoting local student influencers, creatives, journalists, entrepreneurs, athletes, and innovators, creating greater visibility for their talents and opportunities. I will also foster effective collaboration with Public Relations Officers, union directors, student leaders, media organisations, and relevant stakeholders to ensure coordinated and impactful communication. Creating platforms for students to discover scholarships, internships, competitions, jobs, and other opportunities. Encouraging constructive dialogue between students and leadership. Supporting responsible student journalism and emerging media talents. Giving attention to student concerns through appropriate media channels. Carrying out other legitimate assignments as directed by the President and constituted under Article 6:15. Promoting unity, transparency, professionalism, and responsible representation. Together, let us turn information into opportunity, opportunity into empowerment, and empowerment into positive change.
