My name is Ukachukwu Miracle. I am from Rivers State, in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, and I was born and raised in Okwuzi, Egbema. I am a committed and responsible person who always strives to carry out assigned tasks diligently.
Manifesto
Official Manifesto “A VOICE FOR STUDENTS, A LEADER FOR CHANGE, A PROVOST FOR ALL" Fellow students of the University of Port Harcourt, I, Ukachukwu Miracle, humbly present myself as a candidate for the office of SUG Provost. I am seeking your support, not merely for a position, but for the opportunity to serve, represent, and contribute meaningfully to the welfare and progress of every student. My vision is to build a students' union where every student has a voice, every concern receives attention, and every student is treated with fairness and respect. MY VISION To establish a responsive, accessible, and student-centred Provost's office that promotes unity, accountability, academic excellence, student welfare, and effective representation. MY MISSION AND AGENDA 1. Effective Student Representation: I will ensure that students' concerns, complaints, and suggestions are properly communicated to the appropriate authorities and create accessible channels of communication between students and the SUG leadership sothat information reaches the students promptly. 1. Academic Support and empowerment: I will support programmes that encourage academic excellence, including educational seminars, tutorials and, encourage and support opportunities that exposes students to leadership,skills and personal growth. 1. Transparency and Accountability: I will promote openness in the activities of the Provost's office. 1. Unity Among Students: I will work towards a stronger and more united student body where differences do not divide us but diversity strengthens us. . MY COMMITMENT If elected, I will not promise what I cannot deliver. I will promise dedication, accessibility, accountability, courage, and sincere service. I believe leadership is not about occupying an office; it is about serving the people who entrusted you with that responsibility. WHY UKACHUKWU MIRACLE? Because we need a Provost who will: Listen to the students. Speak for the students. Stand with the students. Work for the students.
